Verna Cameron Wilson, 93, of Mount Pleasant, died Sunday, November 17, 2013. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at the Bates-Cooper-Sloan Chapel with Bro. David Posey officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery under the direction of Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant.

Mrs. Wilson was born January 9, 1920 in Titus County to Archie Andrew and Juila Ann (Crabtree) Cameron. She attended Argo School, was supervisor at Pleasant Dress Factory, and member of Church of God of Prophecy in Mount Pleasant.

She is survived by her son, Johnny Wilson of Mount Pleasant; three daughters and one son-in-law, Loretta Stockinger, Linda and Don Wyatt, and Juanita "Nita" Wilson, all of Mount Pleasant; grandchildren, Cynthia Sutton, Roy Edwin Stockinger, John Stockinger, Jason Stockinger, Royce Wilson, Stacy Wyane Wyatt, and Sr. Master Sargent Kent Wyatt; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Frances Stubbs of Mount Pleasant.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Johnny Wilson; and grandchild, Robert Dwayne Wilson.
