Marilyn J. Caldwell, 48, of Baytown, died Wednesday, May 1, 2002, in Dayton. Funeral services will be held at a later date under the direction of Stockdale-Marlin Funeral Home Camden, Tennessee with burial following at Cowell's Chapel Cemetery in Camden, TN. Visitation will be held from 4 Pm to 9 Pm, Friday at Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton. Marilyn was born July 3, 1953 in Detroit, MI., to parents; E. T. Pierce and Joyce Bell, has resided in the Baytown area for the past 12 years, and had been a resident of southeast Texas for the past 25 years. She was a secretary for Brown and McCarrol Legal Services, and member of the Chili Pod BBQ Team and enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling state wide for cookoffs. Mrs. Caldwell was preceded in death by her father: E. T. Pierce and step-father: Bill Whitsett. She is survived by her husband: Michael Caldwell of Baytown, son: David Pierce of Baytown, daughter: Amanda Pierce of Dayton, grandson: David Allen Pierce f Baytown, mother: Joyce Whitsett of Camden, TN., numerous other relatives, and friends.
