Graveside service for Ednelia "Babe" Moore, 85, of Decatur will be Sunday, May 24, 2009, at 4 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with the Rev. James Spears officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Moore, who died Thursday, May 21, 2009, at her residence, was born Jan. 6, 1924, in Decatur to Henry and Ova Wales Hargrove. She was a member of Ninth Street United Methodist Church and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 15 and Decatur Women's Bowling Association. She was was co-owner of Horace Moore Gin Repair and owner of The Sew-a-Letter Shop. Her husband, Horace F. Moore, two brothers and four sisters, preceded her in death.

Survivors include one son, Horace Ronnie Moore and his wife, Mary, of Decatur; three grandchildren, CynDee Moore and Jay Moore, both of Decatur, and Terra Lynn Jarrell and her husband, Hunt, of Madison; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Don Mills, Steve Sanderson, Mark Sanderson, Hunt Jarrell, Jay Moore and Landon Borden.
