Survivors include his wife of 49 years, the former Verlyn F. Iery; his five children, Martin Doles, of Torrence, CA, Teresa (John) Roberts, Patsy, Lynn and Jeff (Angie) Doles, all of Chillicothe; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, Delbert Doles, of Chillicothe, Robert Doles, of Frankfort, and Tom (Patty) Doles, of Thornville. He was preceded in death by a son, Doug Doles; and a sister, Juanita Holdren.
Mr. Doles was a loving and devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He retired from the Mead Corporation in 1995. He was a member of Local 731 Pipefitters Union, BPOE 52, Eagles Aerie 600, and the Ross Co. Soil and Water Conservation District. He loved sports, especially the Buckeyes, Reds and Browns and was an avid card player.
Services were entrusted to Haller Funeral Home of Chillicothe, Ohio.
