Survived by his loving mother Margaret Ramlow (nee Braun), beloved brother of Barbara (Bernard) Rubrecht, Janice (Richard) Larys, Diane (Robert) Creed, John (Char) Ramlow, Earl (Susan) Ramlow and Margaret (Christopher) Kasang. Loving uncle to 14 nieces and nephews, great-uncle to 17 great nieces and nephews. Special friends of Sheila Miller.
Preceded in death by his father John Ramlow. Rick was born December 24, 1947 in Evergreen Park, IL.
Graduate of Round Lake Community High School Class of 1966. Veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Vietnam War. Member of the American Legion Post #0489 in Yorkville. Rick retired as a millwright from Union Local #1693. Former member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Rd., Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. Rev. Rodney A. Juell officiating.
Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials to the Elmhurst Memorial Hospice, 930 N. York Rd. Suite 202, Hinsdale, IL. 60521 will be appreciated. Visitation will be held Monday from 4:00 8:00 P.M.
