Louisa Gruver Dies From injury - Illness From Which she suffered since breaking hip proves fatal. Mrs. Louisa Gruver, widow of Harry Gruver, died last night at 7:15 o'clock at the home of her son-in-law and saughter, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Young,251 King's Mill Road, following a lingering illness caused by a fracture of the hip, sustained in a fall. She was age 85 years, 5 Months and 15 days. She leaves the following children, Mrs. Jacob Young, Edward Schrum, Ms. Harry Stone, all of York: Christian Gruver, Red Lion; Mrs. James Anstine, Brillhart Station, and Mrs. John Whitcomb of Spry. She also leaves two stepchildren, Mrs Isabell Boyer of West York, and Mrs. Emma Senft, Jacobus and 52 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at the Young home on Thursday morning at 9;30 o'clock. Further services will be conducted at the New Salem Lutheran Church, with Rev Fred S. Geesey, of Spring Grove, officiating. The body will be interred in the New Salem Cemetery.
