Nuptials Held On Tuesday

The marriage of Miss Rose Marie Mazour, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Julius to John Beyke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Beyke was solemnized at Sacred Heart Church, Lawrence, Nebr. on Tuesday, June 19 at 9:30 a.m. Msgr. F.L. Sherman officiated at the double ring ceremony and offered the Nuptial Mass.

Arrangements of white gladioli with aqua carnations placed in white satin bells were used in the decoctions.

Miss Mary Ann Kotinek, organist, accompanied the Misses Marilyn Schutte, Sharon Schutte, Marilyn Mazour and Kay Himmelberg who sang during the Mass.

The bride given in marriage by her father, chose a gown styled of hand clipped rose point lace and tulle. The molded bodice was accented by a bejeweled yolk, a scalloped sabrina neckline and traditional long tapered sleeves. The voluminous skirt featured an apron effect front with swag draped sides finished with a lace rose. Godets of tulle trimmed the lace tiered sides which flowed into a chapel train. Her circular veil was held by a crown of pearlized orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of small Sweetheart roses and lilies of the valley framed with a heart of white taffeta and lace.

Mrs. Lyle Hoelting was her sisters' matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Miss Arlene Bekye (sic), sister of the groom and Miss Dolores Ostdiek, a friend. They wore alike dresses of Chantilly lace and nylon sheer. Soft folds of nylon sheer framed the bateau neckline and fashioned the bow and streamers which accented the V'd backs. Lace designed the bodice and tunic skirts which fell over bands of nylon sheer. They wore small aqua veils attached to matching crowns and carried pink taffeta hearts with pink carnations.

Miss Debbie Hoelting, niece of the bride, was flower girl. Her frock was made like the other attendants. She carried a small white basket of flowers. Danny Spade, a cousin of the bridal couple, was ring bearer.

The groom chose as his attendants, Lyle Hoelting, brother-in-law of the bride, Ray Beyke, a cousin, and Bob Reiman, a friend. Ushers were Roger Herbek and David Mazour.

Following the church services a dinner was given in the church hall for about -275 guests. In the evening the newly weds entertained their many relatives and friends at dance in the parish hall.

Both the bride and groom are graduates of Lawrence High Sshool (sic). The bride also graduated from Ben's School of Beauty in Lincoln and has been employed as a beautician. The groom is employed as an artist at Dan's Sign Shop in Hastings.

Following a wedding trip to Colorado Springs, Colo. Mr. and Mrs. Beyke will be at home at 1119 Hewitt, Hastings, Nebr.
