Mrs. Bertie W. King, 86, died at her home on Goshen School Road, Laytonsville, Tuesday. She was the wife of the late Charlie D. King.
She is survived by her son, Harrison C. King, of Laytonsville; two sisters, Mrs. Albert Cissel of Darnestown and Mrs. Charles Boyer of Germantown; two brothers, William Ward of Gaithersburg, and Spencer Ward of Darnestown; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Francis H. Barber Funeral Home, Laytonsville, where services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. Burial will be at the Upper Seneca Baptist Cemetery.
