Millard is the son of Noah King and Malinda(Boice)Aleshire. He was the seventh oldest of ten children. Millard was married to Virginia"Jennie"May Gaskill over fifty-six years. They had six children,Dale,Cleda"Dotty", Elmer"Ray",Lloyd,Warren, and Holly. George Millard Scott Aleshire 83, retired school custodian and resident of Grays Harbor 16 years, died this morning at the family residence after a brief illness. He leaves a host of close friends and acquiantances here. He was born in Benton county, Ark., and lived at Tacoma 28 years, where he was custodian of Park Avenue School. He had resided in Aberdeen since 1928, and also for a time at Elma. The family home is at 510 East Schley Street. He and Mrs. Aleshire were married Jan. 15, 1888, at Burton, Minn., and had observed both their 50th and 55th wedding anniversaries in Aberdeen. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church. Surviving besides his wife Virginia are the following; sons, Dale, Aberdeen, Ray, Central Park, Lloyd, Auburn, Warner, Tacoma, Holly, Artic; Seven grandchildren and one great grandchild; brothers, Ulysses G., Osakis, Minn., Henry, Burton, Minn., and William, Swanville, Minn.
