Earl William Clem, son of John Lee Clem and Mary Elizabeth Akers Clem. Earl had 2 brothers, Leo Fahy Clem (1903 - 1980) and Charles Fredrick Clem (1908 - 1965). Earl traveled as a foreman for Reynolds Metals Co in the 1930's and 40's, living in KY,NJ,MO,and finally ended up in VA, where he met Mabel. He married Mabel Epps Wallace Clem Sept. 23, 1950. They had one daughter, Patricia Earlene Clem, born May 25. He also worked for Fawcett/Haynes Printing Co in Louisville until he retired in 1971 and moved to Mabel's hometown in Lunenburg County, VA
