Funeral services for Joseph S. Osgerby, 70, will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. (this afternoon) at the Huston Funeral Home. Rev. Elmer Braden will officiate and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Vassar. Mr. Osgerby died suddenly Tuesday morning at the home of his niece, Mrs. Wendell Hartman. He had been in failing health for a year. He was a retired farmer, and a member of the Odd Fellows and Mason lodges of Vassar. The Masonic Lodge will be in charge of final rites. Born November 10, 1878, Mr. Osgerby had spent all his life in Tuscola County except for ten years in Saginaw. He never was married. Surviving is a brother, Clark Osgerby of Caro, a sister, Mrs. Glen Baker of Saginaw, and several nieces and nephews.
