Lonnie L. Foster, age 58, of Dardanelle, AR died Friday at St. Mary's Hospital in Russellville. He was born May 23, 1943 in Dardanelle, AR, the son of the late Loy Ray & Helene Marpel Foster. He was a carpenter.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Foster and a sister, Freda Foster Kendrick.

Survivors include, two sons, Timmy of Dover and Shannon of Springdale; a daughter, Cheryl Benham of Pottsville; two brothers, Larry Foster and Billy Don Ford both of Dardanelle, AR; three sisters, Sally Lansdell, DeQueen, Verla Moyer, Mountainburg, LaWanda David, Oklahoma City, OK; step-father, Lloyd D. Cline of Dardanelle; three granddaughters; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends who loved him and will miss him.

Graveside service was May 20, 2002 at Ard Cemetery with Rev. Charles King officiating. Pallbearers were Jess George, Donnie Ford, Victor Dain, Rick Lumpkin, Don Duke and Dan Balloun. Honorary were Glen Masters, Billy Wayne Noblett, Charlie Barton, Jimmy Armstrong, Bruce McConnell, Robert Adams and Bill Pitts.
