Ona, of Edmond, died July 14, 1997 in Edmond, Ok. at the age of 98. Mr. Fleming was born December 20, 1898 in Woodland, Tx to Thomas Wyley and Delsie White Fleming and had lived in the Edmond area since 1929. Ona married Sue Kennedy on May 1, 1948 in Edmond, Ok. Ona worked as a farmer, and for Eagle Milling Co., and was a custodian for the Edmond public school system, retiring in 1965. He was a member of The Red Red Rose, First Baptist Church, Edmond Round-Up Club, and was involved with several bowling leagues. He is survived by his wife, Sue Fleming, of the home; a son, Ona M. Fleming & wife, Mary B. of Okla. City; 2 daughters, Betty Jo Ethridge & husband, M.C. of Edmond, Myra Moore & husband Harold of Edmond; 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sons, Charles & Dutch Fleming & a daughter, Mary Dell Watkins.
