LAKELAND, Fla. - Mrs. Dorothy Stump, 86, of Lake Wales, Fla., died on Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011, Lakeland Regional Medical Center as the result of an automobile accident.

She was born June 27, 1924 in Detroit and moved to Lake Wales, Fla. 31 years ago from White Pigeon. She was a retired accountant and a member of the First Baptist Church of Waverly.

She is survived by her sons Robert Kubiac of Cheyenne, Wyo. and William Kubiac of Quincy, step-daughter Bonnie Jo Alfrey of Goshen, Ind., step-sons Jon Michael Stump of Goshen, Gary Stump of Naples and Greg Stump of Wausau, Wis., six grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband John Stump in 2009.

Funeral services will be Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David T.

Durham, Sr. officiating. Visitation will be from noon until the service time. Interment will be made at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
