Howard Brady Patton, 91, passed away Friday, Jan. 7, 2011. Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday in Winscott Road Memorial Chapel, 1001 Winscott Rd. Burial: Private in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, prior to the service. Mr. Patton was born Oct. 10, 1919, in Alba. He served in the Army during World War II and was awarded the American Theater Campaign Medal, the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with two bronze stars, the Good Conduct Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal. He was a retired superintendent of Itasca schools. Mr. Patton was preceded in death by brothers, Aaron and Alton Patton; and sister, Betty Nell Patton. Survivors: Loving wife of 69 years, Fay Nell Patton; daughters, Judy Coolidge and husband, Tag, of Fort Worth, Kay Fletcher of Lubbock, and Deena Bunyard and husband, Jim, of Denton; grandchildren, Jennifer Carter, Rebecca Hill (Gary), Katie Fletcher, Emily Fletcher, Magen Bunyard and Kyla Robison (Kenny); great-grandchildren, Bradi, Georgia, Aiden, Matthew and Oliver; and sisters, Doris Seago, Vera Dale Connally (Bill) and Harvine Plaxco.
