Mrs. Florida Higgins, widow of Chas. A. C. Higgins, died yesterday at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. J. Clinton Dorsey, near Brookeville, this county, aged seventy-eight years. She had been ill a long time of general debility. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Dorsey, Mrs. Robert P. Magruder, and Charles P. Higgins, all of this county. The funeral will take place tomorrow from the Dorsey home, burial in Rockville Union cemetery. Mrs. Higgins was a Miss Prather of this vicinity, and was a lifelong resident of this county.
