NAVAL PILOT KILLED IN CRASH
FALLON (AP) A Lemoore, Calif., Naval Air Station pilot was killed Friday when his propeller-driven Sky Raider attack bomber crashed while on a low angle practice run near the Fallon bombing range.
The pilot, identified as Ensign James R. Munnerlyn, 24, of Lemoore, and Lake Jackson, Tex., was attached to Attack Squadron 122.
Lemoore Air Base officials said cause of the crash is under investigation. They said the single-engine aircraft was demolished.
