John Henry was a grandchild of Martin Batdorf and wife Marie Elizabeth Walborn who were original Palatine immigrants from Germany, who along with Martin's mother, Anna Batdorf settled in Schoharie NY in 1711 and about 15 - 20 years later moved south to Berks Co PA. Death date is courtesy of a descendant but is not proved. Birth date is approximate.

We are almost positive that Lucy Ann Stacy Bottorff died in Missouri about 1865 but not sure when or where exactly. George Bottorff married again by the time of the 1870 census.
