Harry C. "Buster" Wilkinson, 89, of Orange, Texas, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Renaissance Hospital in Groves, Texas.

Services to remember his life will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday, January 10, 2011 in the Chapel of Dorman Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Bailey Harris. Military honors and interment will follow services at the Dorman Cemetery near Tulane Road in the McLewis community of Orange.

Born on October 24, 1921 in Orange, Texas to his parents, Arthur Wilkinson and Mae (Dorman) Wilkinson, he was a lifelong resident of Orange, a veteran of the United States Army during World War, II. He worked as a repair technician for Sears and Roebuck in Orange and retired in 1984. Buster enjoyed tinkering around his home, helping people by working on their electronics. Buster enjoyed fishing at the lake and spending time with his family.

Buster is preceded in death by his parents; his three sisters, Priscilla Godwin, Ethel Block, and Effie LeBlanc; and his two brothers, Mike J. "Buddy" Wilkinson and Curtis Wilkinson. Those who will most cherish his memory are his daughters, Harriot Jaynes and husband, Danny of Brownwood, Texas and Ethel Marchand and husband, Ervin of Bridge City; his son, Michael Wilkinson and wife, Gayle of Lumberton; nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren and numerous extended family.
