She was born on June 24, 1920, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Charles and Hulda (Rasmussen) Carle.
On December 21, 1940, June was united in marriage to Paul Kloppenburg; he preceded her in death on November 17, 1983.
She had a many pastimes that she loved doing which included quilting, crocheting, painting, and gardening. She also enjoyed knitting and made sweaters, hats, and mittens and donated them to St. Joseph's to help the less fortunate.
June will be missed by her loving children, Danielle Hoffmann, George, Tom, Paul (Terry) Kloppenburg; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; her brothers, Carroll Carle, and Donald (Elerine) Carle; and a sister, Caroline Petrie; other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, John Hoffmann Sr.; two daughters-in-law, Patti and Mary Kloppenburg; and a sister, Shirley (Larry) Alfredson.
A Time of Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 2, 2011, at Martens-Laemmrich Funeral Home, 312 Milwaukee Street, Menasha. Interment will take place in Lutheran Cemetery, Sheboygan.
