Funeral Services for Jon Arthur McAliley, 68, of Bryan, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Reverend Wanda Voigt will officiate. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Wheelock Cemetery.
Jon was born in Bryan, Texas and was a longtime resident of Bryan. He was a carpenter and enjoyed working with his hands. Jon was also a member of the National Guard for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Fannie McAliley and his sister Catherine McBride. He is survived by his wife Betty McAliley of Iola, Texas; his two daughters Mary McAliley of Bryan, Texas and Tracy McAliley of Iola, Texas; his three grandchildren Cole Winn of Bryan, Texas, Nicholas McAliley of Iola, Texas and Alyssa Ayers of Bryan, Texas; his two sisters Jane Eubanks of Bryan, Texas and Idabell De Hart of Camp Creek, Texas.
