In the 1910 she was listed as in "inmate" at the Gale Home on Ash Street. This was a home build by Mary Gale, wife of Dr. Amos Gale. She believed that women should have a place to live out their lives if they were left destitute by the death of a husband. Inmate was often used during those times, the Gale Home was the equivilent of a Nursing Home today.
