Herbert Gillette Barnes, 90, of Dolphin, passed away Jan. 3, 2011.
He is survived by his wife Edith Barnes; two children Brenda Bradsher and husband Tim and Wayne Barnes and wife Ann; two grandsons, Scott and Ryan Barnes; two brothers, Charles Barnes and wife Wilhelmina and Albert Barnes and wife Betty; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Liberty Church in Dolphin with interment in the Barnes Family Cemetery, Dolphin.
The family received friends Thursday at the church prior to the service.
