Emil Preziosi was 87 years old when he passed away on January 7, 2011. Born in Paterson, he's been a lifelong resident of the Elmwood Park. He was the postmaster for United Stated Postal Service in Elmwood Park before retiring. He was instrumental in building the new post office in town. After retiring, he worked for the Borough of Elmwood Park as a fire inspector in the Elmwood Park Fire Prevention Bureau for 20 years, retiring in 1993. He was a WWII veteran serving in the Marines. He was a charter member of the Elmwood Park Volunteer Fire Company #4,exempt fireman's association, a member of the Independent Social Club, In Between Club & Senior Friendship Club all Elmwood Park.
Beloved husband of the Evelyn (nee Waldman) who died in 2006, loving father of the late John, dear brother of Marie of Fair Lawn, Tina and her husband Clark of Fair Lawn, Pasquale of Sussex, also predeceased by 5 sisters and 1 brother, also survived by nieces and nephews.
