Services for John Lee, 90, were held in the First Methodist Church. He was a retired grocer. He and Miss Sarah Emma Line were married on 9 December 1894 in Boyd's Creek, Tennessee. She preceded him in death. Mr. Lee had been a grocer in the Spanish Fort Community since 1898 before moving to Nocona in 1942. He retired in 1957. He was a member of the Spanish Fort I.O.O.F. and had served as both Justice of the Peace and Postmaster in Spanish Fort. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Survived by five sons; two daughters; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
