Funeral services were held at First St Paul's Lutheran Church in Wellesley last Saturday for Mrs. Conrad Hammar of North Easthope Township, who died Wednesday. October 9 at the residence of Mrs. Beatrice Newcombs of RRl. New Hamburg She was 87 years of age. The former Emelie Elizabeth Roeder. she was a daughter of the late Mr and Mrs. Philip Roeder and was born in Wellesley Township June 30.1881.

l he deceased was a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church Mrs. Hammer was predeceased hy her husband in 1941: one son. Clifford, in 1958 and by one sister and two brothers.

Surviving are two daughters. Mrs. Grant (Pearl) Miller of Baden and Mrs. Edward (Doris) Lindner of RR 1. Gadshill: two sisters, Mrs. Theodore (Malinda) Lichty of Wellesley and Mrs. Clayton (Edith) Roeder of RR 1. New Hamburg: seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Futher Brothers Funeral Home of Wellesley, were in charge of arrangements Services were conducted by Rev Irwin Pudrycki Interment took place in First St. Paul cemetery.
