Wm. Gordon Bruce, Jr., was born in London, England, Dec. 19, 1887, and died at Tujunga, California, Aug. 19, 1935.
Mr. Bruce is survived by his wife and four children, Jennie, Wm. Gordon III, Maurine, and Afton Bruce. He also has three sisters in Nevada and four brothers, three living in Salt Lake and one in Huntington Park, Calif.
The Bruce family moved here from Salt Lake City twelve years ago when he was appointed manager of Kellar-White Company of Los Angeles, where he has remained. Wm. G. Bruce, Jr. is known best because of his activities in supervising local missionary work. He was one of the few that first started this work years ago in Salt Lake and has headed the work here since the organization of Hollywood Stake.
Funeral services are under the direction of Bishop Mariner W. Roskelley of the Alhambra Ward. Rulon S. Wells of the First Council of Seventy is here from Salt Lake City to pay tribute. Interment will be in San Gabriel Cemetery."
