TRUEBLOOD, GEORGE ALLEN, 78, of Louisville, passed away July 8, 2009 at Oaklawn Health and Rehab Center.
He was ordained in 1967 as a minister with the Christian Church serving in the states of Kentucky, Virginia and Indiana. He was also a teacher with the Louisville Bible College having started teaching there in 1969 and was also actively involved in Christian ministry and education for 47 years. Mr. Trueblood was a Korean Conflict army veteran and a mason.
He was preceded in death by his son, John Trueblood.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years the former Frieda Allen; his children, Randell A. and David Lee Trueblood; brother, Robert Trueblood; and grandchildren, Jon David and Sara A memorial service to celebrate Mr. Trueblood's life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Kenwood Heights Christian Church, 5610 Newcut Road, with private burial at Ames Chapel Cemetery in French Lick IN. Visitation is after 10 a.m. Saturday at the church. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
