Wednesday evening Miss Dorothy Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Brown of near Shelbina, became the bride of Dorian Alexander, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Alexander, of near Shelbyville, in a double ring ceremony by Rev. R.Q. Crockett, pastor of the Baptist Church in Shelbina.

With 103 points, T/4 Dorian Alexander was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army Monday at Jefferson Barracks after serving three years with the armed forces overseas. He arrived in the States last week from Italy and came yesterday to his home near here. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Alexander.
