Harry Lee Lockett, a retired welder and resident of Plaquemine, died at 12:10 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010, in Plaquemine. He was 55 and a native of Port Allen.

Religious service at Mount Airy Baptist Church, Plaquemine, conducted by the Rev. Lionel Johnson. Interment in Old Folks Cemetery, Port Allen. Arrangements by Roscoe Funeral Home, Plaquemine.

Survived by his wife, Loretta Jordan Lockett; daughters, Angela Lockett, Lisa Stevens and Ashley Jordan; sons, Harry Lockett Jr. and Thaddeus Lockett; sister, Janice Lockett Williams; brother, Jesse Lockett; and nine grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his mother, Earline Lockett; grandmother, Rosa Gordon Lockett; grandfather, Ernest Lockett; an aunt, uncle and other relatives.
