"Mrs. Luther Buxton died last evening at her home on Jefferson avenue. Her demise was caused from heart disease, which was brought on by a severe attack of la grippe. Mrs. Buxton was seventy-four years old and had lived in Oshkosh thirty-two years. She leaves a husband and five children, three of whom were by her first husband."

"The funeral of the late Mrs. Luther Buxton will occur tomorrow morning at ten o'clock from the residence, 222 Jefferson avenue. The Rev. C. B. Wilcox of the first Methodist church will officiate. The remains will be taken to Forest Home cemetery, Milwaukee for burial."
