MORRIS, Frances Raike, 80, of Roanoke, passed away Saturday, December 13, 1997. She was the widow of W. Ralph ''Curlie"" Morris, a member of West End United Methodist Church and a member of Electa Chapter #33 of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was retired from Norfolk Western Railway. Surviving are three nieces, Martha Hall Wheeler of Winter Springs, Fla., Jacqueline Hall Martin of Roanoke and Frances Hall Shaver of Orange, Conn. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's North Chapel 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, with Pastor Jeff Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or the Diabetes Association. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday at Oakey's North Chapel.
