Benjamin M. Jiminez, 87, passed away on Tuesday January 4, 2011. He was born on December 11, 1923 in Beeville, Texas to Fred and Dora Jiminez. He proudly served our country in the Army Air Forces serving with the 775th Bomb Squadron in Northern France. The squadron was awarded with seven bronze stars.

He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Jiminez, daughter Asenath 'Sandy' Jiminez, granddaughter Amanda Reyes, sister Oralia Sanchez.

He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, provider and a friend to all.

He is survived by two sons, Ben Jiminez, Jr. and Roy (Irma) Jiminez, granddaughter Jennifer Pena, five great grandchildren Rogelio, Fabian, Ethan, Ashleigh and Averie.

The family will be receiving friends at 12:00 p.m. with a funeral service to begin at 2:00 p.m. Friday January 7, 2011 at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Pa
