Freida Ethel Askins Dotson, 88, widow of Johnnie T. Dotson died December 31, 2010, at her residence.
Mrs. Dotson was a native of Taylors Creek Road, Hickman County, TN, a daughter of the late William David and Lillie Edney Askins. She was a homemaker and a devoted and beloved mother.
A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January, 8, 2011, at Lower Three Runs Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Mew and the Rev. Fred Orr officiating. Interment will follow in Lower Three Runs Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Glenda C. Dotson of Martin; two sons, Gary E. Dotson of Martin, and Larry D. Dotson of St. Helena, Island. She was predeceased by one daughter, Barbara Ann Dotson; one sister, Doye A. Wilkins; five brothers, Raymond, Wallace, Fred, Hardie Lee and William Askins.
