Eula Dean Blazer passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Homestead Nursing Home in McKinney. Eula was born April 29, 1932, in McKinney to Roy Hamilton Nance and Mattie Clementine Vancleeve Nance. She was the only daughter of five children. Eula worked at Haggar's Pants factory in McKinney for thirty years and then at McKinney I.S.D. for two years. She was a member of the Full Gospel Assembly of God Church, now known as Family Worship Center of McKinney, for seventy-eight years.

She is survived by her daughter, Cristie Blazer of McKinney; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and sister-in-law, Edith Nance of Garland.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold "Gene" Blazer, parents, brothers, Arnold Nance and wife, Hazel, Rev. R. D. Nance and wife, Beatrice, Travis Fletcher Nance and Oscar Nance, and Arnold's first wife, Edna Ford Nance.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, April 11, 2013, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
