Lloyd Hoffman, 77, of Cimarron Trail, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away January 4, 2011 at Carlsbad Medical Center.

Memorial services were held Friday, January 8, 2011, 10 a.m. at Fox and Lake Church of Christ with Philip Lairson officiating.

Lloyd Hoffman was born November 25, 1933 in Levelland, TX to John Henry and Mary Emma (Haskew) Hoffman.

He lived most of his life in Arizona. Lloyd and Linda moved to Carlsbad to live at Riverbend in 2007. Lloyd was a member of Fox & Lake Church of Christ and the "Old Codgers" coffee group.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, and two sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Hoffman; sons, Sam Briscoe and wife, Russonna of Jacksboro, TX, Ande Hoffman and wife, Linda of Tucson, AZ, Steven Hoffman of Winkelman, AZ, William Hoffman of Tucson, AZ; daughter, Sonda Gilbert and husband, Jim of Catalina, AZ; step-daughter, Starlene Hess of Sierra Vista, AZ; ten grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers were the "Old Codgers".
