Mr. Lamb was born on September 16, 1941 in Madison County, the son of the late Lee and Linnie Alexander Lamb. He was a minister of the gospel, serving as pastor of the Valley View Holiness Church. He was a retired employee of the Classic Rattan Furniture Company.
Survivors include his wife of over fifty one years: Sharon Harden Lamb; two sons: Charles Winston Lamb (Debra C.) and Randy R. Lamb (Regina); one daughter: Angel Lamb Gloria (Jerry); four sisters: Myrtle Mays (James), Girtie Renfro, Shirley Raider (Reo), and Louise Rhodus (Elza Ray), four grandchildren: Timothy Lamb, Mesha Callihan, Cassandra Lamb and Jasper Gloria; three great-grandchildren: Cambrie Hall, Kaden Hall and Kaylee Hall; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: Hansel Lamb.
Funeral services will be held at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Kurt Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Lick Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be: Dale Rhodus, Ricky Rhodus, Jonathan Rhodus, Walter Rhodus, Paul Rhodus, David Lamb, Ray Renfro and Anthony Mays.
