Evelyn G. Beatty went to sleep and awoke in Heaven on May 11, 2010.
She is patiently waiting there for her daughter Jan and husband Bob; son David and wife Brenda; daughter Sharon; grandsons Eric, Owen and wife Allyson, Jason and wife Rhonda, Justin, and Garrett and wife Sarah; great granddaughters Skye, Taylor, and Megan; and great grandsons Dalton and Gavin.
Although she will be greatly missed, we are sure that she is sitting with her husband of 44 years, Owen C. Beatty, inviting all to join them by accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as their savior -- so one day you too can go to sleep and wake up in Heaven.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 14, 2010 from 5:30 – 7:00pm at Weatherford Mortuary. The funeral will follow at 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorials be in the form of contributions in her name to the Children's Ministries of Glenwood Baptist Church, 200 South Alabama Road, Oak Ridge, TN 37830.
