Services for Mrs. Mae M. Higgins, 86, of Buffalo, N.Y., formerly of Houtzdale, who died Sunday, March 13, in Lafayette General Hopsital, Buffalo, will be held at the Birger A. Freeberg Funeral Home, Houtzdale, tomorrow at 11 a.m.
The Rev. Theodore McKinney will officiate and interment will be in the IOOF Cemetery, Brisbin.
Friends will be received at the funeral home this evening and until time of services tomorrow.
She was born Jan. 27, 1897, a daughter of George and Edith (Blacker) Vogle.
She was a member of Mt. Zion Primitive Methodist Church.
She was married to Elmer Higgins, who preceded her in death in 1936. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one son Chester.
Mrs. Higgins is survived by two sons, Raymond, Alabama, and Richard, Buffalo, N.Y.; Three daughters, Mrs Margaret Lingenfelter, Tonawanda, N.Y.; Mrs. Gregory (Jane) Spiritosanto, Las Vegas, Nev.; and Mrs. Merville (Helen) Harris, Buffalo, N.Y.; 11 Grandchildren, two brothers, William and Richard Vogle, both of Houtzdale, and two sisters, Mrs. Ida Lansberry, Clearfield, and Mrs. Charles (Viola) Saupp, Florida.
