Mrs. Juanita E. Kinney, 89, of West Burlington died at 7:10 p.m. Sunday, December 26, 2010, at Prairie Ridge Care and Rehab Center in Mediapolis.
Born April 3, 1921 in Winfield, she was the daughter of Bert and Ora Lockhart Cornwell. On February 24, 1940 she married Alvin O. Kinney Jr. in Memphis, Missouri. He preceded her in death on October 19, 2008.

Mrs. Kinney was a 1939 graduate of Winfield High School. She was a homemaker and office manager for Kinney Construction, Timberline Estates and Echo Valley Mobile Home Parks.

She was a member of Middletown Presbyterian Church and VFW Ladies Auxiliary of Mt. Pleasant. She enjoyed traveling in the family camper and collecting salt and pepper shakers.

Her husband; son, Gary D. Kinney; daughter, Janice G. Sullivan; parents; daughter-in-law, Deborah S. Kinney; four brothers and three sisters, one in infancy preceded her in death.
