Pauline Bailey Thurman, 87, died Saturday, December 25, 2010 at her residence. Born December 29, 1922 in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Allie B. and Margaret Case Bailey. She was a homemaker and a member of the Anderson Christian Church. She enjoyed trail riding with her friends and also had won numerous awards showing her Racking Horses.
Survivors include her husband of Seventy-Two Years, Cecil Carl Thurman of Harrodsburg, two sons: Bobby and Kelly Wayne Thurman of Harrodsburg. Three daughters: Bonnie, Kaye and Faye. Six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Vern Huber officiating.
Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery with Kevin Kirkland, Jerry Shryock, Colby Elliott, and Doug Price serving as pallbearers.
