He was a member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church and retired in 1984 from the former Talon Inc., where he had been a set-up man for 35 years. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II, and attended Meadville schools. He was a member of the Eagles fraternal organization and enjoyed music and golf.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou; two step-daughters, Mrs. Dana (Debbie) McKinley of Conneaut Lake and Mrs. Don (Ann) Brandt of Harborcreek; two brothers, Michael L. Rossi of Falconer, N.Y., and Ferdinando A. Rossi of Meadville; a sister, Carmella Luoma of Warren, Ohio; four grandchildren, Lisa and Danny McKinley and Melissa and Michael Brandt; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ignatius "Blondie" Rossi and Albino "John Wayne" Rossi; three sisters, Jeanette Shea, Josephine Buttray, and Helen Rossi.
Friends may call at the Byham-Miller-Mizner Funeral Home Inc., Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.. A scripture service will take place there Monday at 3:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary Church on Tuesday at 10 a.m. with Monsignor Casimir Bogniak, pastor of St. Mary's Church, officiating. Burial will be at St. Brigid Cemetery, West Mead Twp., Pa.
