I have an obituary that states Margaret's birthday as the 29th but I have another source that says the 31st. The year and month on both are the same, 1/1846.

Partial Obituary from the Waterville Telegraph:

Mrs. Hiram LILLIBRIDGE, Margaret Matilda COOK, daughter of Joseph and Rachel COOK was born in Boxley, Hamilton County, Indiana January 29, 1846.

With her parents she came west seeking a home in 1864. They homesteaded on 80 acres in section 19, Waterville Township, Marshall County, Kansas. On July 15, 1865 she was united in marriage to Hiram LILLIBRIDGE. To this union 10 children were born Ollie (Olive Almira), Matthew, William, Mary, Isabelle, John, Lulu, Daniel, Daisey, and Hiram, Jr. The young couple started the voyage of life together on the homestead west of Waterville. They had but twenty dollars and a calf when they started housekeeping. Mrs. Lillibridge lived on this farm with her husband for 63 years. They settled in Marshall County before the town of Waterville was platted and before the railroad was chartered. Their nearest trading post was Marysville. There were no roads, and a trip to town and market was few. Death came very suddenly December 8, 1928 at the age of 82 years 10 months and 9 days. She seemed to be in her usual health doing her own housework in the morning and she was making preparations to come to Waterville later in the day.

She first noticed the pain in the region of her heart. She had reached the bed before her husband entered the home. She seemed to realize that the end was near and expressed herself as being ready to go. She was conscious until the last. During the last moments she was praising God for the wonderful blessing to her. For a number of years she had been a member of the Methodist church of Waterville, KS.

Mrs. LILLIBRIDGE was survived by her husband Hiram, Sr., 5 children: Matthew of Barnes, Mary ARGANBIRGHT, Isabelle ARGANBRIGHT, Daisey BROOKS, and Hiram Jr., all of Marshall County, and one sister Mrs. J. P. CORNELIUS of Hannibal, Missouri, 49 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and other relatives and a large circle of friends.
