LEXINGTON, Okla. - Alma Clorene (Ard) Biddy, 79, died Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, in Lexington Nursing Home in Lexington.

Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Monday in Warren Cemetery in Warren with the Rev. Barry McConathy officiating. Arrangements are with People's Co-operative Funeral Home of Lone Wolf.

Mrs. Biddy was born Feb. 22, 1931, in Navajo to Emily (McDoniel) Ard and Elmer Ard, and passed away Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, at Lexington Nursing Home at the age of 79.

She was married to Carter Boyd Biddy in 1949, and in addition to being a homemaker for her family she had been a medical transcriptionist, an artist and pianist. Mrs. Biddy had lived in Amarillo, Texas, for 60 years before moving to Lexington in 2007.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband.

Survivors include a daughter, Shelley Annette Green and husband Danny of Lexington; a granddaughter, Kimberly Joy Madden and husband Thomas of Purcell; a grandson, Jason Carter Green of Lexington; and five great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Warren Cemetery Fund in care of Cliff McElroy, 15403 S. C.R. 2112, Blair, OK 73526.
