DANIEL "DANNY" C. COLE, 49, of Alvin, Texas, passed away after suffering a long illness on Tuesday, December 28, 2010. Danny was born on April 5, 1961 to Harry Cole Sr. and Elizabeth Miller Cole in Los Angeles County, CA. Danny was an all-star in all sports. A former Friendswood Football coach said he had never had such an overall excellent athlete as Danny. He was a 1979 graduate of Friendswood High School and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Danny was a gourmet cook and the best BBQ man in Texas. He also had a long career in computers. He was a fantastic carpenter and could build anything.

Daniel is preceded in death by his daddy, Harry Cole, Sr. in 2002 and his dear brother, Harry Cole II in 1998.

He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth, brothers, John Cole and David Cole (Alina) and his sister Mardi Cole Parmenter (Mark). He is also survived by his nieces, Sharon Cole and Valerie House and nephews Philip Cole, Matthew Cole, Andrew Cole, Manual Pirea, David Parmenter and Cole Parmenter. Danny is survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins in S.C., CO. and FL.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2011, at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, TX and will be officiated by Bro. John Cole.

I am so very proud and grateful to God that Danny Cole has been my son for 49 years and 8 months. His entire life has been one of courage and kindness and love of family and country.

Pallbearers assisting will be John Cole, David Cole, Philip Cole, Matthew Cole, Cole Parmenter and David Parmenter.
