Beverly Ann Ammesmaki, 68, of Sawyer passed away after an extended illness on Dec. 4, 2005 surrounded by her family. She was born on April 22, 1937 in Cloquet to Frank and Julia Connors.
She was an enrolled member of the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. Beverly loved gardening, being outdoors and many other activities. She especially loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sulo; her son, Sulo; her parents, brother, Clayton 'Sonny'; and sisters, Jean and Gloria.
Beverly is survived by her children, Frank (Julia) of Sioux Falls, S.D., Dawn Ammesmaki of Sawyer, Shawn of Cloquet, Joel (Carla) of Cloquet, Jodi (Debbie) of Cloquet, Nick (Darla) of Cloquet, Nicole 'Koko' Ammesmaki of Cloquet, and Marcus Ammesmaki of Sawyer; 25 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother, Aurelius Julius 'A.J.' Connors; and numerous nieces and nephews.
VISITATION:5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2005 in Handevidt Funeral Home, 900 Washington Ave., Cloquet and will continue on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2005 from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. Funeral Service also in the funeral home. Private family interment at Sawyer Cemetery.
