Daughter of James M. Arrowood and Sarah "Sallie" Buckner, they are buried at Ivy Hill Cemetery, Buncombe County, North Carolina

Mira Matilda was the 1st wife of Ervin M. Guthrie, they married in 1865, he was the son of Jonathan Gutherie and Jemima Arrington Gutherie.

After Mira's death Ervin married Luartie Rice, according to death certificate they were divorced at the time of his death.
