Mrs. Brittie Alberta Mathewson, 74, a lifelong resident of Ada and vicinity, died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Belle Branan, one mile north of Ada.

Mrs. Mathewson, a widow since 1909, was a member of the Bethel Church of Christ, of north of Ada.

She is survived by her daughter, four sons, Bird and Roy, both of Ada, Gene of Dunkirk and Tony of Columbus; a brother, D. C. Mann of Lima; a sister, Mrs. Jessie Rosserman of New Stark; 20 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Ada Church of Christ with Rev. Lee Moore, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.

The body will remain at the Preston funeral home, Ada, until 1:30 p.m. Monday when it will be removed to the church.
