Warren E. Ruth, 68, of Manheim R?, died at 7:15 a.m. Wednesday at his home after a lengthy illness.
He was employed in the clutch department at Raybestos-Manhattan Inc., Manheim, before his retirement six years ago.
Born in Hopeland, he was a son of the late George and Ella Mae Edwards Ruth.
He is survived by his widow, Jennie M. Ellmaker Ruth, of Rothsville; one daughter, Winifred, wife of Ray D. Fink, Manheim R3, with whom she [sic] resided; three sons, Warren Jr., Lititz R1; Freddie, Plattsmouth, Neb., and James, Lititz, and nine grandchildren. He also is survived by four brothers, Enos, Lititz R1; Clarence, Myerstown; Charles, Schaefferstown, and Miles, Lititz R1; four sisters, Sadie, wife of Stewart A. Weik, and Miss Irene Ruth, both of Ephrata; Anna, wife of Arthur Loose, and Ella, wife of Ivan Eshelman, both of Akron, and one half-brother, Raymond Edwards, Ephrata R1."
