MRS. CLYDE COLLINS DIED EARLY TODAY
Mrs. Doshie Collins died today at 7:30 a.m. in the Starke Memorial hospital after an illness of four years. She had resided in her home on W. Lambert St. in Knox prior to entering the hospital. She was born February 14, 1895, in Greenup, Kentucky, where she lived for almost 28 years before coming to Knox. She was a member of the Lutheran church. She was married there in 1935 to Clyde Collins who survives her. Other survivors are her mother, Mrs. Mary Oliver of Kentucky; a son, Johnny Wheeler of Elkhart; a daughter, Bonnie Marie Collins of Knox; one stepson, Charles of Morocco; and one stepdaughter, Marie Hoffman of Newark, NJ. She also leaves four brothers and three sisters, including Ida Holt and Bill Oliver, both of Knox. Remains may be viewed at the Price Funeral Home after 1 p.m. Friday and the funeral will be held there Saturday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Norman Berning, pastor of the Lutheran church, officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
